This April marks SpottingLog’s 9th anniversary! Launched in April 2016, our plane spotting database has flourished thanks to your incredible support.
We’re deeply grateful to our amazing subscribers. Together, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones: over 3.1 million aircraft sightings logged and more than 340,000 aircraft photos uploaded!
Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve accomplished so far this year:
- Optimized and improved fleet lists.
- Reduced load times on various reports.
- Enhanced airline indexes to better support special characters.
- Initiated new pagination development.
- Archived the community forums.
- Introduced improved help centre tools.
- Refined airline index and fleet list counters.
- Added new search functionalities.
- Conducted a subscriber survey for future enhancements (more details coming soon).
- Started recruiting additional data editors (more details coming soon).
This list is just a snapshot of our ongoing commitment to developing SpottingLog alongside our community. We have many exciting plans for future expansion, which we’ll unveil as they materialize.
