Bulk Uploader Overhaul

We have recently overhauled our bulk uploader tools to optimise and improve the bulk uploader tools.

The first update was to give our users the choice between uploading standard (individual) sightings in bulk or uploading directly to a trip they have created.

You will now be presented with 2 options when using the “Add Bulk Sightings” feature.

If you are not a fan of creating individual trips for your logs, you can now upload bulk sightings without creating trips.

We have also overhauled the bulk uploader logic on both options, so you are now presented with a page where you can check the data before saving. On the new version of this page, we show aircraft details we have found in our master database and then a list of aircraft we don’t have details for.

For the aircraft we don’t have details on, you can either manually enter your own details or you can remove them from the bulk upload completely using the red X.

We hope these new updates make bulk uploading more efficient and give you more options at the same time.

More updates are on the way!

We have been working on a number of other updates behind the scenes that we will launch as soon as they are ready.
