Help Centre Updates

We have recently rolled out some updates to the SpottingLog app to help streamline support requests from our subscribers. We often receive support requests from several sources, email, community forums, support tickets, and social media.

To help us provide faster and more efficient support to all subscribers we have completed some essential changes.

Community Forums – Archived

We have been carefully monitoring the use of the community forums over the past 6 months and have now decided they are not being used as intended. Our original goal with the community forums was to provide all subscribers with a way of meeting fellow spotters and having open discussions about the hobby we all love.

Unfortunately, after careful monitoring, we have determined that the community forums are mostly being used for support requests which require SpottingLog admin attention. We can’t always monitor the community forums and sometimes support requests go unanswered until spotted.

Because of these reasons, we have decided to archive the community forum feature.

A New Help Centre Home Page

To ensure all users have access to the best support from the SpottingLog admin team. We have introduced a new Help Centre home page.

This ensures that access to our most popular support requests can be found with ease and if you can’t find the answer you are looking for, you can always submit a support request.

The key features of our help centre are

  • Add New Aircraft Request
    If an aircraft is missing, you can provide the details here and once approved it will be added to our database.
  • Add New Airport Request
    If an airport is missing, you can provide the details here and once approved it will be added to our database.
  • FAQs
    Many frequently asked questions have been listed in the help centre and you might be able to find the answer to your problem yourself.
  • Support Requests
    If you still require support, the fastest way to reach out to us is by submitting a support request.

Future Updates

We have many ideas on our to-do list and we will do our best to continue to bring new features and enhancements to the SpottingLog app as and when we can.
